Washing Care - House Of Shiroz

All the blazers are to be dry cleaned.

Cotton Shirts:

Washing:

  • Hand wash in cold water to protect the prints. Machine washing may damage the prints.
  • Use a mild detergent (preferably liquid) that is free from bleach or harsh chemicals.
  • Wash separately for the first few washes to prevent any color bleeding.
  • Avoid soaking for a long time, as it may cause the colors to fade.

Drying:

  • Air dry in the shade, as direct sunlight can cause the prints to fade.
  • Avoid wringing the fabric. Gently press out the water.
  • Do not tumble dry, as heat can damage the hand prints and fabric.

Ironing:

  • Iron on the reverse side using a medium heat setting to avoid damaging the prints.
  • For delicate prints, place a cotton cloth between the fabric and the iron.

Storage:

  • Store in a cool, dry place, and keep it folded to prevent stretching.
  • Avoid exposure to moisture and sunlight to preserve the hand-printed designs.
Modal Silk Shirts:

Washing:

  • Hand wash in cold water with a mild, silk-friendly detergent to protect the hand-printed designs.
  • Be gentle with the fabric; avoid scrubbing or wringing the fabric to prevent damage to the prints.
  • If machine washing is necessary, use a delicate cycle with a mesh laundry bag to minimize abrasion.

Drying:

  • Lay the fabric flat on a clean towel and roll gently to remove excess water.
  • Hang or lay flat to dry in the shade. Direct sunlight can cause the prints to fade and the fabric to weaken.

Ironing:

  • Iron the fabric on the reverse side at a low temperature while it’s still slightly damp.
  • If the prints are delicate, place a cloth between the fabric and the iron.

Storage:

  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture.
  • To maintain the hand-printed design, fold carefully and avoid heavy pressure on the folded edges.
